A suspect was shot and killed by police after a stabbing incident earlier that morning in Prince George's County. Officers found two critically injured victims and a fire at an apartment. The suspect, armed with a knife, was later confronted at National Harbor and shot after approaching officers. The suspect later died at the hospital. The victims are in critical but stable condition. Road closures remain in effect; identities of those involved are still unknown.

Luigi Mangione has been indicted on federal charges for the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. His arraignment is scheduled for next week after being postponed. A 19-year-old college student has been charged in connection to an attack at a Tesla Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Owen McIntire set two Cybertrucks on fire in March, according to the Department of Justice. Officers were in pursuit of a vehicle near West LA. Our FOX 11 team reported that the vehicle was a white mustang that was recklessly driving at high speeds on the southbound lanes of the 405 Freeway. Once the mustang stopped, the driver is seen communicating with officers and then returning to the car. Officers eventually get a hold of the driver and arrest him. There appeared to be a female passenger who was also arrested.
