Where is the Super Bowl this year?

The eyes (and cameras) of the country will turn toward Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Levi’s Stadium is home to the San Francisco 49ers, who finished third in the NFC West this year, after falling to the Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Playoffs on Jan. 17.

What time will the Super Bowl start this year?

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. EST; expect programming to kick off 30 minutes to an hour before that. Of course, festivities in the Bay Area started even earlier, with Super Bowl Opening Night, which was, of course, "Fueled by Gatorade," commencing on Monday, Feb. 2.

What are the odds on the Super Bowl?

As of this writing, the Seahawks are favored to beat the Patriots. The Tom Brady/Bill Belichick era of Patriots history may still loom large in viewers’ memories, but the last several seasons have been rough for the Pats, so devoted football fans will likely be less surprised by this prediction.

Don’t cry for Patriots fans, however: Their team still holds the records for the most Super Bowl appearances, with this year’s Big Game reinforcing that record. It will be the team’s 12th Super Bowl.

Who is doing the Super Bowl halftime show?

That would be Puerto Rican megastar Bad Bunny, fresh off his historic Grammy win for Album of the Year – the first time an all-Spanish-language album picked up the top prize. Going from the Grammys to the Super Bowl Halftime Show in one week is quite the flex!

"What I’m feeling goes beyond myself," Bad Bunny said in a previous statement. "It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL."

Who is singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl?

Charlie Puth will succeed Jon Batiste, who performed last year.

Who else is performing at the Super Bowl?

Something a little different is happening this year: Before any football happens, fans will be treated to an opening ceremony featuring Green Day.

As previously reported, the NFL has described the performance as a celebration of "six decades of the league's championship game history," adding that Green Day "will help usher generations of Super Bowl MVPs onto the field."

The band’s lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong had this to say: "We are super hyped to open Super Bowl 60 right in our backyard! We are honored to welcome the MVPs who’ve shaped the game and open the night for fans all over the world. Let’s have fun! Let’s get loud!"

Aside from Bad Bunny, Puth and Green Day, the broadcast will feature performances from 11-time Grammy-winner Brandi Carlisle (who'll perform "America the Beautiful") and R&B star Coco Jones (performing "Lift Every Voice and Sing"). Both performances will happen before kick-off.

Curse or coincidence, it holds true this year: the Kansas City Chiefs won’t be playing in Santa Clara.

Good luck getting a ticket. As of this writing, resellers on StubHub are selling seats for anywhere from $4,920 to $28,910 – and that's for a single ticket. But luckily for (almost) all of us, the Oscars of football are still on TV (and streaming).
