Torch lighters sold on Amazon recalled for fire, burn hazards

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of Topkay Torch Lighters after determining the products lack required child-resistant mechanisms, posing fire and burn hazards that could cause serious injury or death.

The recall affects about 7,500 units. The black metal lighters are sold in two-packs and have the word "Honest" printed on the front.

The units were sold on Amazon from September 2025 through October 2025 for about $15.

What you can do:

Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled lighters immediately, destroy them by removing the black adjuster knob, and contact Xiyude at BCLighterService@outlook.com with photo proof of destruction to receive a full refund, disposing of the products in accordance with state and local regulations.
