Sauna blankets sold at Target, Macy's, Snappy, recalled after reports of overheating

A recall has been issued for thousands of sauna blankets sold at Target and Macy’s because they overheat, according to a Consumer Product Safety Commission alert.

An estimated 3,600 of SLF Sauna Blankets that were sold in-store at Target, Macy’s and Snappy, as well as on Target’s online store, are included in the recall. 

The blankets were sold between February 2025-February 2026.

So far, there have been six reports of products overheating and causing minor damage to furniture.

What you can do:

Consumers who purchased one of these blankets should stop using them immediately and contact Tzumi Electronics for a free replacement.
