Dramatic police footage shows the moment a car crashed into a kebab restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent, causing part of the building to collapse.

Staffordshire Police released footage of the crash, which happened on July 20, 2025.

The driver, 21-year-old Daniel Mohammed, was sentenced to two years and two months in prison on May 29, police said.

According to police, Mohammed did not have insurance to drive the car and was using his cellphone when he crashed into the restaurant.

A passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.

What's next:

The restaurant has remained closed since the crash, according to police. The building that housed Rose Fast Food was later demolished following the crash, local media reported.
