How car recalls get reported

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) officially start car recalls after receiving complaints from consumers.

Costco has issued a recall on packages of its Traditional Madeleines sold at select stores in several states after discovering the products may contain an undeclared allergen, posing a severe risk to people with allergies.

The company issued the recall on its website on April 7, sending a notice to members who had purchased products.
