The political spotlight is on Dallas on Wednesday for Day 1 of the inaugural GOP midterm convention. President Donald Trump took to the stage to rally Republicans who gathered in Dallas ahead of what experts are seeing as a historic and critical Midterm election. Attorney General and Republican Senate candidate Ken Paxton also spoke during the day’s events. Paxton shook hands with members of the National Border Council before his speech.
