Earlier this year he ousted the existing board of the Washington, D.C. arts center and his newly-appointed board voted Trump to be the Kennedy Center's chair. The legislation also bans threats to publish intimate photos and videos, including AI-generated ones. Those who publish or threaten to publish these revenge pornography images are subject to fines and/or prison. Both President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, who championed the bill, announced the legislation signing during an event in the Rose Garden at the White House.
