Biden announces run for White House again in 2024

President Biden will run for the White House again in 2024, he announced early Tuesday morning in a video posted on his website and social media. He added that Vice President Kamala Harris will be his running mate again, as well.

Vice President Kamala Harris arrived in Arizona on Jan. 19 where she highlighted federal efforts to create a "clean energy economy." Harris visited Tonopah, a town about 50 miles west of Phoenix, for the groundbreaking of the Ten West Link Transmission Line, an energy infrastructure project intended to connect power grids in Arizona and California. Although today’s visit was all about clean energy, critics want the White House to turn more of its attention to the southern border. “You come to a border state where you have border community needs, that we are addressing border issues every day, the tragedies of it the sadness of it," Cochise County Sheriff Mark Dannels said. Vice President Kamala Harris rolled up a sleeve on Saturday and took a third shot of the Moderna vaccine. She previously achieved full vaccination after receiving her first dose on Dec. 29 and her second on Jan. 26.
