Idaho police said they have looked into an incident involving Idaho murder victim Kaylee Goncalves "at a local business, which may have been the stalker reference she made to friends and family." The update came as police continue to search for any suspects in a Nov. 13 quadruple homicide that left four University of Idaho students – 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves; 21-year-old Madison Mogen; 20-year-old Xana Kernodle; and 20-year-old Ethan Chapin – stabbed to death in their off-campus home on Nov. 13. Kaylee's father said he "can't" specify whether he believes his daughter or any of the other victims were targets of the attack. "I asked for permission to do just that, and they said no," Goncalves said of police. "I probably over-disclosed information that they wish I wouldn't have said, but the story's going cold. There's less people coming to Moscow. I'm not going to go sleep in my bed knowing that I could get up and I could go to town and I could do something, and I'm not going to go away. I hate to be a pain, but as a father, I just can't even sleep thinking that I could be doing something." More than three weeks later, police are still trying to fill in an unknown timeline of events for Chapin and Kernodle, who were boyfriend and girlfriend, the night before the murders. It is unclear where they went or what they did between then and the time they arrived at home around 1:45 a.m. on Nov. 13. Police are asking the public to share any information they may have about the couple's timeline that evening or early the next morning.

The search for a missing Wise County little girl has come to a terrible end. Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin confirmed that 7-year-old Athena Strand?s body was found on Dec. 2, 2022 in Boyd, Texas. The sheriff says a tip led them to 31-year-old Tanner Lynn Horner, a driver contracted by FedEx, who is believed to have abducted Athena from her home on Nov. 30, 2022. The driver confessed to kidnapping her. Athena likely died an hour after her disappearance, the sheriff said.

Atatiana Jefferson's nephew Zion, who is now 11, testified during the murder trial of former Fort Worth police officer Aaron Dean, who shot and killed Jefferson in 2019. Zion told jurors about witnessing his aunt get shot and that she was "crying and shaking" after being struck. He later found out that she was killed in the shooting.

Migos rapper, Takeoff was shot and killed outside of a bowling alley in Houston, Texas in early November. Police have said he was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire, and on Friday, they announced an arrest. A suspect has been arrested in the deadly shooting of rapper Takeoff last month in Houston. Houston Police Chief Troy Finner says 33-year-old Patrick Xavier Clark has been charged with Takeoff's murder. Another man who was seen on video during the deadly shooting was also arrested on gun charges including felony to possess a firearm and unlawfully carrying a weapon. But during a court hearing, prosecutors said the suspect, Cameron Joshua, 22, is not believed to have fired a weapon during Takeoff?s shooting. Takeoff, whose real name is Kirsnick Khari Ball, was killed when gunfire erupted outside of a private party at a Downtown Houston bowling alley on Nov. 1. Two others were hit by gunfire but survived. Police believe the shooting happened after a dice game, but Takeoff was an innocent bystander.

Update on the Idaho student murders investigation, Moscow Police said the sixth person listed on the lease at the house where four students were killed last month was not involved in their deaths. 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves; 21-year-old Madison Mogen; 20-year-old Xana Kernodle; and Kernolde?s boyfriend, 20-year-old Ethan Chapin were found stabbed to death on November 13.
