Idaho murders: Father of slain victim says she had 'big open wounds,' calls police 'cowards'

The father of slain University of Idaho student Kaylee Goncalves said the victims had "big open gouges" that were clearly the work of a "sadistic male" and called police "cowards" for not sharing more with the public.

This comes just days after police in Moscow, Idaho issued a warning about 'criminal charges' for people who spread misinformation about the quadruple homicide on the University of Idaho's campus. It also comes after Steven Goncalves, Kaylee's father told Fox News Digital details that have yet to be officially released. Moscow Police say Kaylee Goncalves, 21; Madison Mogen, 21; Xana Kernodle, 20; and Ethan Chapin, 20, were killed in an off-campus house on King Road between 3 and 4 a.m. on Nov. 13.

Moscow Police urged the internet's true crime community to tone things down Friday, nearly four weeks after the unsolved slayings of four University of Idaho students captured national attention. "Investigators have been monitoring online activity related to this ongoing and active case and are aware of the large amount of rumors and misinformation being shared as well as harassing and threatening behavior toward potentially involved parties," Moscow police said in a statement Friday afternoon.

The Moscow Police Department released new body camera video recorded the same morning four University of Idaho students were murdered. Police working a plain clothes alcohol enforcement patrol stopped three University of Idaho students for suspected underage drinking at about 2:50 a.m. Nov. 13 as the students were walking in a field between West Taylor Avenue and the Sigma Chi fraternity. The teens were stopped about one-tenth of a mile from the rental home at 1122 King Road, where Madison Mogen, 21, her best friend Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Ethan Chapin, 20, and his girlfriend Xana Kernodle, 20, were brutally stabbed to death between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m.
