Is YouTube down? Hundreds of thousands report issues with online video-sharing platform

YouTube has resolved an issue across all of its services after hundreds of thousands of users reported being unable to watch videos on Wednesday, according to the YouTube Help web page.
People flocked to X, with many saying they were receiving an "error" or black screens when trying to access the video platform.

The hashtag #youtubedown, quickly became a trending topic on X Tuesday afternoon.
"Is YouTube down for anyone else is it my wi-fi?" one user wrote.
"For the first time in history, Youtube actually went down. How am I gonna watch videos now!" another person wrote.
"I thought it was my internet but I see that's not the case," another said.

As of this report, over 360,000 users were having issues.
YouTube says issue is resolved
YouTube's Help web page said the issue was resolved across "all YouTube services," later on Wednesday afternoon.
The cause behind the glitch was not revealed immediately.
"We're aware that some of you are experiencing issues watching videos on YouTube, YouTube Music, or YouTube TV. We're investigating the issue and will update this thread with the latest info. Really appreciate your patience," YouTube said earlier.
