Iran latest: Vance says Switzerland talks set a 'good foundation' to end war

High-level peace negotiations between the United States and Iran that began on Sunday in Switzerland ended early Monday morning with the two sides coming to an agreement on de-escalating the fighting in Lebanon. 

Toward the end of the session, Pakistani and Qatari mediators announced that the U.S. and Iran agreed to a "de-confliction cell" in Lebanon that will include the Lebanese government. The cell would "ensure the adherence of the termination of military operations in Lebanon."
