USS Abraham Lincoln heads back to US

The USS Abraham Lincoln is headed back to the US after reports of crew members facing food shortages and mental health issues amid a record long stint in the Middle East. The Asia-based USS George Washington aircraft replaced the ship as concerns have grown about the Lincoln’s lengthy deployment, which has included a record-setting uninterrupted time at sea of more than 250 days, and about reports of crew stress and poor mental health, as well as supply shortages, including food and hygiene products.
