Texas officials discuss ongoing flood threat

We are now listening to Governor Greg Abbott and other Texas officials as the state braces for some much-needed rainfall and cooler temperatures. According to our partners at FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth, while the rain is needed to put a dent in ongoing drought conditions, the exceptionally dry soil could struggle to absorb heavy downpours quickly, raising the potential for localized flash flooding by the end of the week. Right now, rain chances are expected to persist through the work week.
