Women's movement icon Gloria Steinem dead at 92

Gloria Steinem, the renowned American writer, lecturer, activist and organizer who spent more than five decades advocating for gender equality and women’s civil and reproductive rights, has died, her foundation announced. She was 92. A cause of death has not been announced.
