RPT: New York schools named in 2,000 sex abuse claims

An extensive two-year investigation published by The 74 Media reveals that nearly 18% of all cases filed under New York's Child Victims Act name a school, educator or staff member as a defendant. The analysis shows that roughly 70% of these look-back cases remain unresolved nearly seven years after the law's enactment, with Manhattan's rate reaching nearly 79%.
