Trump continues campaign blitz in Michigan

President Trump campaigned in eastern Michigan on Sunday, headlining a campaign rally at the McMorran Place Arena ahead of next week's midterm elections. The visit was aimed at boosting Republican candidates in the crucial battleground state's matchups, including Mike Rogers' highly competitive U.S. Senate bid against Democrat Abdul El-Sayed. Trump’s appearance came exactly one day after former President Barack Obama stumped for Democrats in Detroit, underscoring Michigan’s pivotal role in deciding control of Congress.
