Strait of Hormuz is open, U.S. CENTCOM says

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced Thursday that the Strait of Hormuz is open and can be used freely. CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper said in a video update that American forces have now successfully cleared Iranian sea mines. This comes as Iran continues to insist the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.
