Details of medical chopper crash off Catalina emerge

We are learning more this Thursday after a medical transport helicopter carrying five people crashed into the ocean off Catalina Island in California on Wednesday night. The crash resulted in two confirmed fatalities, two hospitalizations, and an active search for one missing passenger. Our partners at Fox 11 Los Angeles say that first responders from local, county, and federal agencies rushed to the scene off Pebbly Beach near Avalon, where search and rescue teams continue their efforts underwater.
