Trump, XI set for high-stakes meeting in D.C.

President Donald Trump is expected to attend the United Nations General Assembly in New York next week before hosting Chinese President Xi Jinping at the White House for a summit on Sept. 24. The meeting is expected to address several issues in U.S.-China relations, including trade, technology and artificial intelligence, Taiwan and critical minerals.
