Brazil's Lula defeats Bolsonaro in presidential runoff

Brazil's President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has been declared the winner in the South American country's presidential runoff election, securing a fourth term. The soon-to-be 81-year-old Lula, a vocal critic of U.S. President Donald Trump, defeated Flávio Bolsonaro, a Trump ally and the son of former President Jair Bolsonaro.
