Trump admin. moves to end 2001 roadless rule on national forests
The Trump administration is moving to repeal a 2001 rule protecting about 59 million acres of national forest from road building, logging and other development. The Forest Service says repealing the rule would give local managers more flexibility to address wildfires, disease and other forest health concerns.
