Crew find debris from missing plane near Nantucket
On Saturday, a Canadian-registered medical transport jet went missing off the coast of Nantucket, Massachusetts while flying a patient from Bermuda to Boston. The Gulfstream G100 aircraft, operated by Latitude Air Ambulance, plummeted thousands of feet over just a few minutes after the pilot reportedly declared an emergency due to severe electrical issues. Late Saturday evening, the U.S. Coast Guard located a confirmed debris field roughly 20 miles south of Nantucket island in waters about 80 to 90 feet deep. An active, massive multi-agency search covering over 2,800 square miles continues for the six people who were on board, including four Canadian crew members and two Bermudian nationals. Former U.S. Air Force Navigator Jim Brauchle joins LiveNOW's Andy Mac to discuss.
