Booster Shot: FDA authorizes third vaccine dose for immunocompromised

The FDA announced in a statement late Thursday night that for those Americans with weakened immune systems, they would be authorized to received a third vaccine dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna shots. The statement says the action does not, however, apply to people who are not immunocompromised.
