Families of Uvalde victims react to new report
The families of the Uvalde School shooting victims spoke to media following the release of a new report. Attorney General Merrick Garland unveiled the Justice Department's review of law enforcement's response to the May 24, 2022 mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, in which 19 students and two teachers were killed. Garland notes a series of failures in law enforcement's response that day, saying "The victims and survivors of the mass shooting at Robb Elementary on May 24, 2022 deserve better." And that the shooting was a failure that shouldn't have happened.
