Palestinian residents are claiming Thursday that Israeli planes have dropped flyers into Gaza with a message for them to leave their homes and head to "known shelters" or risk being harmed, a report says.

Israel?s military is directing the evacuation of northern Gaza, a region that is home to 1.1 million people, within 24 hours. This could signal a ground offensive, though the Israeli military has not yet confirmed. On Thursday Israel said it was preparing, but it had not come to a concrete decision.
