We are learning more from law enforcement officials as they say a man who claimed to have accidentally shot his girlfriend ended up turning the gun on himself after a five-hour SWAT standoff at a Texas apartment. According to our partners at FOX 26 Houston, the man, 23, and the woman, 20, both died at the scene. The incident began shortly before 2 p.m. when a man called 911 to report that he had accidentally shot his girlfriend, the sheriff’s office says.
