U.S. President Donald Trump again urged Iran to reach a deal with Washington on its nuclear program, warning that Israel?s attacks ?will only get worse.? In his first public comments since the Friday attacks, Trump said on his Truth Social platform that ?there is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end.?

President Donald Trump on Friday morning urged Tehran to reach a nuclear deal “before there is nothing left,” hours after Israel launched a wave of airstrikes against Iran, killing at least 4 top leaders. In the post from the Presidents Truth Social account he writes: "I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to “just do it,” but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done. I told them it would be much worse than anything they know, anticipated, or were told, that the United States makes the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR, and that Israel has a lot of it, with much more to come - And they know how to use it. Certain Iranian hardliner’s spoke bravely, but they didn’t know what was about to happen. They are all DEAD now, and it will only get worse! There has already been great death and destruction, but there is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end. Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left, and save what was once known as the Iranian Empire. No more death, no more destruction, JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. God Bless You All!"

A U.S. appeals court on Thursday allowed President Donald Trump to maintain his deployment of National Guard troops in Los Angeles amid protests over stepped-up immigration enforcement, temporarily pausing a lower court ruling that blocked the mobilization. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals' decision does not mean that the court will ultimately agree with Trump, but it does leave command of the Guard with the president for now. According to reports, Israel attacked Iran's capital, Tehran, with explosions booming across the city early Friday morning. The attack comes as tensions between the two nations have reached new heights over Iran's advancing nuclear program. A blast was heard by residents in Tehran, with state television acknowledging the event. Smoke was seen rising from Chitgar, a neighborhood in western Tehran, though the exact target of the blast was not immediately clear. Initial reports say that the United States had no involvement in Israel’s strikes on Iran, according to one U.S. official. An Israeli military official has confirmed the attack has targeted nuclear sites in Iran. An immediate comment from the White House has not yet been made available. The attack comes as President Donald Trump was on the lawn of the White House mingling with members of Congress on Thursday evening.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass held a press conference Thursday on anti-ICE protests and immigration raids across the city. She also spoke on Sen. Alex Padilla's (D-CA) removal from a press conference while he was asking a question to DHS Security Kristi Noem. Bass said she does not "recognize" Noem anymore after serving alongside her in Congress for years. In a post on X, Bass said what happened to Padilla is "absolutely abhorrent and outrageous," adding that the Trump administration's "violent attacks on our city must end."

The House of Representatives passed President Trump's $9.4 billion plan to slash federal funds for foreign aid and public radio, such as PBS and NPR. The bill passed 214 to 212, mostly down party lines -- no Democrats voted for the bill and four Republican lawmakers voted against it. The bill now heads to the Senate for consideration.
