3 brothers die in North Texas frozen pond; mother says she 'couldn't save them'

Three young brothers died after falling into an icy pond in Fannin County during a winter storm, according to the Bonham Fire Department. This is the second fatal accident involving students in North Texas this week.

An enormous winter storm has dumped sleet, freezing rain, and snow across much of the United States this weekend, paralyzing air and road traffic while sending temperatures plunging. We have learned that at least 182 million people were under watches or warnings for ice and snow. According to FOX Weather, the highest snow accumulation reached 23.3 inches in New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and the greatest ice total was 1.0 inch in Oxford, Mississippi.
