Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., blasted Dr. Anthony Fauci during his questioning period at Wednesday's Senate hearing.

During the Senate’s Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs subcommittee hearing about his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sen. Ashley Moody, R-Fla. asked Dr. Fauci about the 6-foot social distancing rule during the pandemic and its impact on the public.  Fauci again invoked the Fifth Amendment and refused to answer the questions.

Dr. Fauci invoked the fifth Amendment at the Senate Homeland Security Committee. Hundreds of pages of Fauci's COVID-19 pandemic-era diary were made public ahead of the hearing.
