West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey spoke Friday on the status of U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, one of two National Guard troops who were shot in Washington DC last month. The other, Army Spc. Sarah Beckstrom, died as a result of her injuries. Rahmanullah Lakanwal, the Afghan national accused of carrying out the shooting, was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder for the killing of Beckstrom and assault with intent to kill for the shooting of Wolfe. He also faces weapons charges. A vigil is being held Friday night in West Virginia for Wolfe.
