Their final day in the U.S. included a formal farewell at the White House with the president and first lady and a visit to Arlington National Cemetery where they placed a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. They then traveled to Front Royal, Va. where they attended an America 250 Block Party. The king then visited Shenandoah National Park and the queen visited a horse farm. The king then departed the U.S. with a formal sendoff at Joint Base Andrews as he traveled to Bermuda while the queen returned home.
