Lebanon cancels peace talks with US & Israel

The Prime Minister of Lebanon is cancelling scheduled peace talks in the US with Israel. On X Lebanon's leader said: "In light of the current internal circumstances, and in commitment to fulfilling my duty completely in safeguarding the security of the Lebanese people and their unity, I have decided to postpone my trip to the United Nations and the United States, in order to follow up on the government's work from Beirut." This comes as Israel continues to pound Hezbollah. The IDF said today that 200+ Hezbollah targets were struck in Lebanon in the last 24 hours.

The Artemis II astronauts successfully splashed down off the coast of San Diego at 8:07 p.m. ET as planned, concluding a monumental and risky 10-day journey around the moon and back that took them farther from Earth than anyone in human history. All four of the Artemis II astronauts were successfully extracted from the Orion spacecraft following splashdown and are now at medical bay where they will undergo post-mission medical evaluations.

SpaceX launches 'Cygnus XL' cargo spacecraft

More than 11,000 pounds of scientific research and cargo were launched to the International Space Station aboard Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus XL spacecraft as part of the company’s Commercial Resupply Services-24 mission. The spacecraft lifted off on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The four-astronaut crew aboard Artemis II successfully splashed down in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego, California on Friday, completing a 10-day mission around the moon.
