Lebanon and Israel are set to hold their first direct diplomatic talks in more than 30 years. We are now hearing that Republican Tony Gonzales of Texas will retire from Congress amid bipartisan calls to expel him. The Congressman from Texas has already announced that he would not seek reelection after admitting to an affair with a staff member. Reporting from the Associated Press indicates that Republican leaders in the House had called on Gonzales to not seek reelection.
