According to FOX Weather, the highest snow accumulation reached 23.3 inches in New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and the greatest ice total was 1.0 inch in Oxford, Mississippi. The news comes on the heels of a call between Governor Tim Walz and President Trump. Tom Homan has been sent to the area to help lead efforts which Kristi Noem has been overseeing.
