Manhunt underway for former police chief in Arkansas
Convicted killer and former police chief Grant Hardin, known as the "Devil in the Ozarks," escaped Sunday from the North Central Unit, a medium-security prison in Calico Rock, Arkansas. Officials are continuing their statewide search for Hardin, who had been serving a lengthy sentence for murder and rape. Hardin briefly held the position of police chief in Gateway, a small town near the Arkansas-Missouri border.
