The Wise County Sheriff's Office says they are transition from a search with an investigation to an investigation with a search as they look for 7-year-old Athena Strand, who disappeared from her Wise County home on Wednesday night. An AMBER Alert was issued for Strand on Thursday, even though the sheriff doesn?t have evidence to indicate that she was abducted.

Family and friends of the four victims in the Idaho college murders gathered to pay their respects. Police say the investigation into the murders is ongoing, and no suspect has been identified at this time.

More than two weeks after the murders of four University of Idaho students, no arrests have been made and no suspects have been named. Dr. Alex Del Carmine, a PHD in criminology, spoke with LiveNOW from FOX's Josh Breslow about the case.

Authorities are still working to determine who was living at the home and whether the victims were targeted in the attack. It's been one-year since four teenagers at Oxford High School in Michigan went to school and never came home. Tate Myre, Hana St. Juliana, Madisyn Baldwin, and Justin Shilling were the four students who were shot and killed inside the halls of their high school by a fellow student. At 12:51 p.m. on Nov. 30, 2021 - a gunman pulled a handgun out of his backpack and started shooting. The Oxford Strong community remembered the unforgettable smiles and precious souls of the victims killed in last year's high school shooting. Four of their own gone, but never forgotten.

The police department in Moscow, Idaho posted a significant update to the quadruple homicide investigation on social media. The department wrote: "CLARIFICATION: Conflicting information has been released over the past 24 hours. The Latah County Prosecutor?s Office stated the suspect(s) specifically looked at this residence, and that one or more of the occupants were undoubtedly targeted. We have spoken with the Latah County Prosecutor?s Office and identified this was a miscommunication. Detectives do not currently know if the residence or any occupants were specifically targeted but continue to investigate." In the early morning of Nov. 13, the four students were stabbed and killed in their home near the University of Idaho campus. Moscow police said they have not identified any suspects, zeroed in on a motive or recovered a murder weapon.
