Hi! I’m Shawna. I joined LiveNOW from FOX in October 2025 as a digital journalist.
Born and raised in Denver, I graduated from the University of Miami in 2015 and have been working in local news and sports ever since. I’m a three-time Emmy-winning journalist, recognized for my reporting on major stories like the mass shooting at UNLV and the Creek Fire in California. I’ve worked in Miami, Gainesville, Fresno, Denver and Las Vegas — and now I’m thrilled to bring you the biggest national and global news, unfiltered, on LiveNOW.
Outside the newsroom, you'll probably find me exploring with my 10-year-old Pitbull Cash (you may recognize him from TikTok) or cheering on my Miami Hurricanes and Denver Nuggets and Broncos!
