President Trump took to social media Friday morning, saying the United States has agreed to resume "talks" with Iran, but continued to express that the ceasefire between the two nations is over.

The backstory:
The United States launched a new round of strikes this week in Iran against multiple military targets.
The strikes were in response to what U.S. Central Command has called unjustified aggression against commercial shipping and civilian crews.
