The list of Social Security Administration (SSA) offices that will not be offering in-person service, at least temporarily, is growing a little longer in the coming weeks.
Big picture view:
The SSA’s website showing closures and delays that affected in-person trips showed a few that went into effect this week. While people needing help may not be able to walk into those locations, they are able to get service over the phone from most of them.

List of Closures and Delays
Arizona - The Yuma office will not provide in-person services through Friday, May 2. Telephone assistance is available.
California - The Mission Viejo office will not provide in-person services through Friday, April 24. Telephone assistance is available.
Florida - The Ft. Walton Beach office will only provide telephone service until further notice. There is no in-person assistance.
Hawaii - The Wailuku office will not provide in-person services through Friday, April 24. Telephone assistance is available.
Iowa - The Decorah office will only provide telephone service until further notice. There is no in-person assistance.
Maryland - The Silver Spring office will only provide telephone service until further notice. There is limited in-person assistance with an appointment.
Michigan - The Detroit College Park office will only provide telephone service until further notice. There is no in-person assistance.
Montana - The Glasgow office will not provide in-person services from Tuesday, April 28 to Thursday, April 30. Telephone assistance is available.
Montana - The Havre office will only provide telephone service until further notice. There is no in-person assistance.
Northern Mariana Islands - The Saipan office will not provide in-person services through Wednesday, April 22. The SSA advises calling the national line at 800-722-1213 for assistance.
Pennsylvania - The Bloomsburg office will only provide telephone service until further notice. There is no in-person assistance.
Texas - The Del Rio office will not provide in-person services through Tuesday, April 21. Telephone assistance is available.
West Virginia - The Logan office will only provide telephone service until further notice. There is no in-person assistance.
