Massachusetts school bus crash sends 9 children to hospitals

At least nine children were hurt after a school bus crashed into another vehicle in Everett, Massachusetts, on Thursday, May 21, according to authorities.

Video captured by a nearby business shows the bus making a left turn at the intersection of Broadway and Langton Street before colliding with a black sedan traveling along Broadway in the opposite direction.

What they're saying:

In a joint statement, Everett Police Chief Paul Strong and Everett Public Schools Superintendent William Hart said emergency crews responded to a crash "involving a school bus" carrying 11 children. Officials said nine of the children were "transported to area hospitals for observation." Authorities added that none of the injuries appeared to be serious.
