A recall has been issued for 40,245 bike helmets because the products could fail to protect riders if a crash were to occur.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission noted in a Feb. 26 recall letter that the affected helmets may pose a "serious risk of injury or death due to head injury."

Agency officials added that these products violate the federal safety standards for bicycle helmets because the helmets "do not comply with the retention system and positional stability requirements."
Which bike helmets are recalled?
Why you should care:
Todson, Inc. recalled its Concord 360 Degree Rechargeable Light-Up Bike Helmets, which were sold at Walmart stores nationwide and online at Walmart.com between January 2025 and September 2025 for $30.
Consumer Product Safety Commission officials said the helmets were sold in size large and have a black exterior with a built-in LED lighting system, black straps, black buckle, and a black plastic knob at the back of the helmet for adjusting the fit.
Is there a refund for the recalled helmets?
What you can do:
Consumers with the recalled bike helmets should immediately stop using them and contact Todson to receive a refund. The Consumer Product Safety Commission noted that if you have the helmet, you should destroy it by cutting the straps off. Consumers can also send pictures of the helmet with the straps cut off to 360concordhelmet@todson.com to receive a refund.
