13 people injured in shooting near Oklahoma City

At least 13 people have been injured after a shooting near Oklahoma City. 

Police in Edmond said they received reports of shots fired around 9 p.m. Sunday night at a party near Arcadia Lake. 

According to the Associated Press, hospital officials confirmed that ten people were being treated at Integris Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City with another three at Integris Health Edmond Hospital. The victims are in "various conditions" according to a police spokesperson. 

What they're saying:

"This is obviously a very terrifying situation and we understand the concern from the public and those involved and we are working extremely hard to find the suspects," said police spokesperson Emily Ward. "We’re kind of all over the metro speaking with victims and witnesses." 

What we don't know:

No suspect information was given, according to the Associated Press report. Nor have police provided any information about any additional information. 

Arcadia Lake is located approximately 13 miles north of Oklahoma City in the suburb of Edmond. The location is used for flood control and is also a popular recreational spot for fishing, boating, picnicking and camping.
