Charlie Saephan spoke briefly after being identified as the $1.3B Powerball winner. He says he plans to find a good doctor and continue chemotherapy.

The winning Powerball numbers were drawn on Saturday evening, potentially giving someone a chance to win the whopping $1 billion jackpot, with a cash value of $453.1 million.

The winning numbers are: 22, 03, 18, 27, and 33. And the Powerball number was 17 and the Power Play was 3x.

The winner, who must match the numbers on five white balls (1-69) and the red Powerball (1-26), also has the option to claim a one-time lump sum payment.

The Powerball jackpot grows until a winning ticket is sold. Winners can choose to receive their prize as an annuity, paid in 30 payments over 29 years, or take the lump sum payment. Federal and jurisdictional taxes are applicable to either payout.
