LIVE from DC: National Mall to reopen at 9:45 — 4th of July updates

Follow along all day and night for live streams and updates as Washington, D.C. marks America's 250th birthday — from the Great American State Fair and military flyovers to the Salute to America program and fireworks over the National Mall. 

The National Mall was evacuated at 7 p.m. due to nearby storms. Freedom 250 announced around 9:10 p.m. the gates will reopen at 9:45 p.m.; President Donald Trump will give remarks around 11 p.m., with fireworks to follow.
