Sen. Padilla will not run for California governor

California Democratic Senator Alex Padilla says he will not run for governor of California. Padilla made the remarks in the halls of Capitol Hill on Day 35 of the government shutdown. Padilla did not answer questions about what his announcement means for Kamala Harris' odds of running.
